Meet at Langmeil Winery
It’s an early start
The picturesque Langmeil Winery is where your adventure begins and ends. This historic winery is home to the original blacksmith, bakery and butcher shop established in Tanunda in 1843.
The vineyard surrounding the winery is believed to be one of the oldest known surviving Shiraz vineyards in the world.
After your gourmet breakfast feel free to stroll through the beautiful grounds and immerse yourself in the history of the Barossa. Or take a walk through the vineyard along the lovely Para River.
Also feel free to drop into the Cellar Door for a free wine tasting, and stock up on some amazing Barossa wines.
Langmeil Winery is located at the corner of Langmeil Road and Para Road in Tanunda 5232.

We assemble and go!
Once everybody is assembled and signed the Flying Terms and Conditions, your pilot will give you a briefing before you board our comfortable 4wds, all with forward facing seats and air-conditioning throughout, and head off the launch site. Don’t forget to bring your camera as there will be some amazing photo opportunities along the way.
The launch site (we have many) is chosen according to the wind speed and direction on the day. At the launch site we inflate the balloon which takes approximately half an hour.
